Right around the corner from home, it swings by some of my favourite harbour beaches (Like Queens Beach) and Milk Beach and is continually scenic. This is bad, as you are regularly stopping to take a photograph… then coming around the corning and seeing something better. Beautiful views of the harbour, like this one, from a journey in which we narrowly avoided a massive storm).
It finishes up at Nielsen Park/Shark Beach… where I spent PLENTY of time over summer. Reward yourself with a dip… unless it’s freezing, foggy and pouring with rain, like it was on the day I took these photos. In fact, on this particular day, I didn’t get too far. But at least the walk is pleasantly quiet when it is bucketing down with rain.
It was a deliberate trip out into the wet. I was slow cooking a roast and I thought, what better way to get warm than to get cold first. Good times.
